Programs We Offer
School Clubs
School chess clubs are core to Square One Chess!
With over 160 students in weekly programs, chess clubs are the best way for students to get involved in the chess community.
Our coaches teach weekly lessons before, during and after-school, to grades K-8. All experience levels are welcome!
Students get to show off what they’ve learned once a semester at our FREE K-5 scholastics tournament.
Small Groups
Students can get involved outside of school!
Currently offered, in partnership with the City of High Point, at Deep River and Allen Jay recreation centers.

Camps
Chess is year round!
Various summer camps are offered over the course of summer break. Whether students want to advance to new levels or continue regular practice, we have programs available!
